2026 Summer Camp

 

Big adventures, city fun, growing faith, and lifelong memories—summer the St. John’s way. 

St. John’s Summer Camp is an amazing summer experience for children entering 1st–8th grade! Campers explore Denver on fun field trips, dive into STEAM activities, play outside in Washington Park, enjoy Bible Time, and take part in classic, old-fashioned games—plus plenty more. Registration opens January 15 and closes April 1.

St. John's Summer Camp

Every week is filled with sun-soaked adventures, new friendships, faith, and creative, hands-on learning. St. John’s Summer Camp is designed to be affordable and flexible for busy families—choose a full week or three days per week, with the freedom to come and go around vacations and packed schedules.

Summer Camp Fees + Important Information

  • Weekly Rate: $340 (attending 4-5 days per week) 
  • 3 days a week: $290
  • Field Trip Experience/Transportation Fee: $40
  • Registration Fee: $55 (one-time fee per camper—includes camp T-shirt) 
  • Blackbaud Fee: $39 one-time fee per family for Blackbaud, a 3rd party billing system. If your child attends St. John's School during the 2025-2026 school year, you have already paid this fee.
  • Change of Schedule Fee: first change, no charge; after that $50 per occurrence. A 4-week notice is required for refunds.
  • Summer Camp hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm, with drop-offs at 7:30 and 8:30am, and pickups at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30 pm
  • A separate registration is required for each member of the family.
  • STAFFING and RATIOS- We are a Colorado state-licensed facility. All staff have been background checked. Group leaders are at least 18 years of age and have prior experience with school-age children. The required staff ratio is 1:15; our ratio is usually 1:10. For swimming and off-site field trips, our ratio is 1:7 or lower.

Gloria Roggow, Extended Care and Summer Camp Director

Gloria Roggow

Gloria has been directing K-8 before and after school care and summer day camp at St. John's since 2009! She loves that her position combines working with kids, college students, and families, and talking about Jesus.

Gloria has had a variety of jobs but spent 3 1/2 years teaching middle school at St. Paul, Harlingen, TX, and spent 8 years working with college students at Concordia University, Chicago, where she received a certificate in Deaconess Studies as well as a Master's Degree in Theology. Her undergrad degree in secondary education is from Concordia University, Nebraska.

Gloria grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska, and enjoys keeping up with her large family, spending time with friends, walking, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
