Welcome to St. John's School, a thriving ELC and K-8 school in Denver's gorgeous Washington Park neighborhood. We are so pleased to partner with you as you give your family the strongest possible start.

St. John's School and ELC are a working extension of St. John's Church. Founded in 1880, St. John's is the oldest Lutheran church in Denver and has steadfastly served as a beacon of hope through sharing God's love. St. John's School began as a one-room school in 1882. The Early Learning Center (ELC) and K-8 school now bring hope and life to hundreds of families each year through exceptional education in a safe, academically rigorous, Christ-centered environment.

We believe that families are God's primary tool for nurturing and shaping young lives. It's an honor for us to walk alongside families and serve them, using our skills and resources to create an environment where children can thrive. Whether you are new to St. John's, or have been here for years, you are welcome here.
