Visual Arts
ELEMENTARY ART
Elementary school art is created by setting a foundation of all art practices. This includes:
- Ceramics
- Drawing
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Printmaking
- Design
Together, we will review all the elements of art and design while creating fun, hands-on projects to display around the school. All elementary students participate in art class.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ART
Middle school art electives offer a broad range of styles, approaches, and techniques. In any art elective, the student will learn all the elements of art and participate in individual and group projects including:
- School Murals
- Comic Book Design
- Sketch and Drawing
- Studio Art
- Foundations of the Color Wheel
Students are supported creatively to pursue their interests and create original work. Middle School art electives are chosen by the student at the beginning of the school year.
