Summer Camp


For children entering 1st - 8th grades in the 2022-2023 school year
Camp Dates: June 6 - August 5
Camp Hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Registration begins February 7, 2022
Ready to catch some waves with us this summer?  
We'll be opening on June 6. We are following child care guidelines for COVID-19 to keep our campers and staff safe. When and if these guidelines change prior to summer camp, we will let you know.

Registration Fee: $50 (one-time fee included in first payment—includes camp T-shirt) 
Smart Tuition Fee: $35 (one-time fee per family for Smart Tuition, a 3rd party billing system.  If your child attends St. John's School during the 2020-2021 school year, you have already paid this fee.)
Weekly Rate: $250 (attending 4-5 days per week) 
3 days a week: $190 
Field Trip Experience/Transportation Fee: $20 
Change of Schedule Fee: first change, no charge; after that $50 per occurrence. A 4-week notice is required for refunds.

Please note--for a registration to be accepted, you must turn in 2 documents: the completely filled out child emergency contact form/waivers and the financial agreement appropriate to your grade group.  We also need a copy of the immunization records. 

CHOOSING DAYS TO ATTEND Families can choose the 3 days a week option or the full-week option, and choose which days they would like to attend.  AFTERNOON SNACK is provided daily and included in the cost of the program.

KIDCHECK We use the KidCheck computer system for check-ins and check-outs. All campers must be registered in this system prior to their first day of camp. Parents/guardians should not create separate accounts; this causes children to be checked in and out incorrectly.

REGISTRATION A separate child emergency contact form, waiver/indemnity agreement and financial agreement is required for each child. More than one child may not be listed on the same registration.

MEDICAL CONCERNS If your child has asthma, severe allergies, or other medical needs, a health plan form signed by both your physician and a parent must be turned in with the medication. The health plan must be turned in directly to Gloria Roggow by May 1. Medication must be reviewed with a director or assistant director when dropped off.

GROUPS: The children will be divided into groups of 15 with those of similar age.

Field Trip Experiences
We'd all like to go on bus field trips again!  We don't know what Covid guidelines will be this spring and summer.
We are planning some field trips that will come to us, and hoping that we will be able to take the bus to some as well.
We will continue to have weekly visits to Bonnie Brae Ice Cream, and we hope that we will be able to swim at the Denver Rec Centers.

End of Summer Camp Celebration Dependent on COVID-19 guidelines, the celebration will be on Friday, August 5, from 6-10 pm, with food, fun, and games.
